I read in Harper's that nobody, not even a farmer, works harder than a hardworking teacher, but that there is nothing lazier on this planet than a lazy teacher. On a scale of 1-10 then, I would place myself at a seven. Generally, I like what I do. I try to stimulate students, I have developed several projects of note, I keep in touch with several former students, and I get my summers off.
